Govt not ready to discuss with Team Anna

It is the ninth day since Team Anna members started their endless fast on Lokpal Bill. The physical conditions of Arvind Khejriwal, Gopal Rai have been deteriorating but the government does not seem to bother about it as nobody has come forward to initiate talks with Team Anna. Meanwhile sporadic incidents of Anna supporters staging protest in front of the residences of the prime minister and soniya gandhi occurs bearing no fruit.

Famous personalities and well wishers of Anna Hazare including the actor Anupam Kher, V.R.Krishna Iyer, Santosh Hegde have appealed to Team Anna to end fast as they are crucial to bring the solid change to India against corruption. Left Leader Sitaram Yechury also expressed his worry about the government's attitude of not coming forward to talk with Team Anna.

Team Anna refused to get hospitalised despite their worsening physical conditions. Police have warned that the organisers of this fast should be wholly responsible if anything serious happens to the members who are fasting for the past nine days.

2 Blasts in Pune within an hour

August 2, 2012.

Two Bomb explosions within one hour period happened in Pune on Wednesday. The Deccan Gymkhana police station has registered case on these explosions and started probing this case. A local tailor, Dayanand Patil who was first suspected as the culprit is now absolved since he was just opening a bag out of curiousity which exploded and caused him trouble both physically and mentally.

R.K.Singh, Union Home Secretary said that the nature of the blasts are being examined using the unexploded IEDS. He is also confident that this must be a planned and co-ordinated act as it happened within an hour and within 500 distant range. Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde said that he is waiting for the updates about the blasts.

Chidambaram back as Financial Minister for the third time

On Wednesday, P.Chidambaram (66), has become the new finance minister of india again for the third time. The post was temporarily held by the Prime minister, after Pranab mukherjee resigned his post as Finance Minister since he had to contest in presidential election. P.Chidambaram has become finance minister again after four years. India Inc has been welcoming the new finance minister with tons of confidence.

P.Chidambaram with years of experience over economic reforms is expected to boost the indian economy especially at this time when the indian economy is very weak. He has been congratulated by many ministers though he recieved critical aclaims from his opponent politicians for his alleged involvement in 2G Scam and for the tampered election results that made him win in his Sivaganga.seat in Tamilnadu in 2009.

Home ministry previously held by Chidambaran is now taken over by Sushil Kumar Shinde who was earlier holding the power ministry. M.Veerapa Moily has taken charge of Power Ministry now.

Anna Hazare warns his supporters against Violence

Anna Hazare is on his fourth day of fast until death today. In these four days, team anna has been facing tough challenges from all quarters, sometimes from their own supporters. Anna Hazare and his team members were blaming media for giving not enough coverage to their demonstration these days. And his supporters have started attacking media for the same which made Anna Hazare to make a swift statement saying that if any of his supporters involve in such violent attitudes again, they need to remember that they are giving government enough reason to crush them back with the kind of power and law they are endowed with.

Government yesterday announced that they are not ready to meet Team Anna. This has furiated Team Anna members and they start reacting to this attitude of government saying that government wants members like Anna Hazare and his team members to die so that they can loot the country without any problem. Kiran Bedi said that no government official have contacted them yet which is not the kind of attitude we expect from the government. Anna Hazare is worried about the deteriorating health of Kejriwal and Gopal Rai but clarified that they will not give up on this fast till their demands are met and they are not ready to talk even with the Prime minister. He even blamed BJP saying that it supported them initially with the political motive and now they are not supporting them.

India has recovered from its largest blackout today

India's historical blackout that left almost 10% of world's population to experience huge fear due to major power failure at 13.00 pm on tuesday has come to an end. Power was restored to major cities on tuesday evening itself and for the rest of the regions, power is restored on wednesday morning. The cause of power failure is not yet known though the power minister, Sushil Kumar Hende has already started blaming the northern states consuming more power than its alloted quota as the reason for the failure of power grids. Sushil Kumar Hende assures the actions against the states that consumes more power.

Traffic on both railways and roadways have come to be a stall due to this blackout and the passengers are left stranded in the middle of their journey. Traffic blockage happened in all cities due to loss of traffic signals due to blackouts. Miners were trapped underground in west bengal and Jharkhand areas. Only major cities who have back up options were not much affected by this blackout.

Anna Hazare to start fast unto death from sunday

Anna Hazare's ultimatum to the government regarding Lokpal issue ends on saturday. So he despite low turnouts on hunger strike by team anna on saturday is determined to join the hunger strike from sunday. Anna Hazare also clarified that he has no plans to start a political party or to fight elections. But he will enter politics if the people wants Anna to do so.

75 year old Anna Hazare says that he will support any party that will fight against the corruption. He says congress and BJP are not the correct parties to safegaurd India. So India needs an alternative. If somebody who has a clean background is going to start a party against corruption, he will support his party by campaigning across India.

Some of Anna's supporters were arrested earlier today due to ruckus created by them in front of the prime minister's residence. After this incident, Anna's close aide, Arvind Kejriwal appealed Anna not to fast citing his poor health. He said that India has already lost valuable leaders like Mahatma Gandhi and Jaiprakash Narayan very early and we cannot afford to Anna Hazare as well.

Anna Hazare is fooling the nation - Narayanasamy

V.Narayanasamy, Minister of State, Prime Minister Office hits back Anna Hazare after he was targetted by Anna Hazare saying that Narayanasamy has been conspiring to stop him from joining the hunger strike from sunday. Narayanasamy says that he is very happy that Anna Hazare has finally disclosed his political ambitions by saying that he is going to form a political party. He welcomes the move and says that finally Anna Hazare's true colour is revealed. Anna and his team has been just fooling the people by false allegations against the ministers and the government without any proof just to gain publicity and destabilize the nation.

When asked about Anna Hazare calling our new president, Pranab Mukherjee as a corrupt politician too, Narayanasamy says that this shows the instability of Anna Hazare and his team as Anna Hazare actually congratulated Pranab Mukherjee for being elected as the new president and now he is alleging him as a corrupt politician. he bluntly called Anna Hazare as a jobless person doing these cheap works just to attract attention from the public. Previously Narayanasamy asked Anna Hazare to form a political party and work for the nation instead of wasting time in attempting to destablizing the nation with his false allegations.

N.D.Tiwari is proved to be the Biological father of Rohit Shekhar

Veteran Congress Leader N.D.Tiwari is proved finally to be the biological father of 33 year old Rohit Shekhar as per DNA test conducted as directed by HC order. This case which has been dragging for the past 5 years has finally come out with a judgement that proved N.D.Tiwari as the biological father of Rohit Shekhar as claimed by Rohit Shekhar.

In september 13, 2007, Rohit Shekhar filed a case against the veteran congress leader N.D.Tiwari saying that he is his biological father. But N.D.Tiwari has been refusing this all along. Tiwari even succeeded initially in dismissal of Shekhar's case. But the steadfastness of Shekhar has finally won the judgement in his favour on July 27, 2012 when the HC opens the DNA test reports and says that N.D.Tiwari is the biological father of Rohit Shekhar. It is worth recollecting that N.D.Tiwari has made several attempts to avoid taking blood samples from him against the HC order. Even after giving his blood, he took all possible attempts to discourage the court to reveal the blood test report.

Two Heroines for Vijay in Gautham Menon's Yohan Adhyayam Onru

Ilayathalapathy Vijay is joining hands with the ace director Gautham Menon for the first time in the tamil movie, Yohan Adhyayam Onru. Gautham Menon is currently busy with the post production work of his current project, Nee Thane En Ponvasantham which starrs Jeeva and Samantha. Ilayaraja scores the music for the movie. Vijay is also currently busy with his most eagerly expected movie, Thuppaki directed by A.R.Murugadoss who has been giving continous hits in both tamil and hindi. The movie has some legal issues over the use of title, Thuppakki since it was registered by another producer long back. Despite that, the movie is expected to be released on August 15.

7 year old girl to pair up with Kamal Haasan

Kamal Haasan has already announced about his hollywood venture in Osborne's movie. Though the script is not finalised, it seems a 7 year old girl is to pair up with Kamal Haasan in the movie. Kamal says that he is not looking only for the kid that looks cute on the screen but also for the kid who actually can act as she will be with Kamal in every frame of the movie.

As far as Kamal discloses, the movie will be a mix of human civilization and the adventure story trying to answer the age old quesions such as why we fall in love with each other and why we hate each other. Since kamal himself started facing the camera at the age of 7, he assures that he will be very considerate with his 7 year old co-star as he knows how exactly it feels to face the camera at that age.

Death Toll in Assam ethnic Violence increases to 41

Recent ethnic violence in Assam between Minority Immigrants and Bodo Tribals has caused 41 officially announced deaths so far. The clashes have been happening for the past 4 days that has caused serious disturbance to the peace in four districts of Assam which includes Chirang, Bongaigaon, Dhubri and the worst hit Kokrajhar. Assam government has deployed military troops to give protection to the inhabitants of the districts. Army has been conducting flag marches in very sensitive areas to instil confidence in the public.

Indefinite curfew and shoot at sight orders have been issued in the worst hit Kokrajhar district. Despite these stringent measures by the government, violence continues unabated leading to the recovery of more and more dead bodies in Chirang and Kokrajhar Districts. Defence Spokesperson Colonel S Phogat has assured that army units have identified hypersentive areas to keep them under strict patrol.

Many are left homeless and kept under refugee camps as their houses are set on fire by miscreants. Many villages are gutted completely. People in refugee camps are complaining about the shortage of essential supplies including food. This violence has caused severe economic damage as there is no one near the paddy  fields as it is the sowing season. Passenger trains and Goods trains also got stuck due to this violence. Many muslim immigrants have left the villages. Many Bodos have sought refugee in refugee camps.

Bodos feel that they are marginalised by the Bangladeshi immigrants and the government does not do anything to stop immigration. This seems to be root cause of this ethnic violence that has been happening quite often in Assam. Efforts are on to bring the two parties to the table to talk and put an end to the violence forever as it is not doing any good for any parties.

Pranab Mukherjee replaces Pratiba Patil as the President of India from Today

Pranab Mukherjee is sworn in as the 13th president of India today. He is from West Bengal serving indian politics for the past 40 years woking with the top notch leaders including Indira Gandhi. Before attending the swearing in ceremony at Rashtrapati Bhavan, he paid his homage to late leaders Indira Gandhi, Mahatma Gandhi, Rajiv Gandhi and Lal Bahadur Shastri accompanied by the Urban development minister, Kamal Nath.

Chief Justice of India, S.H.Kapadia admistered oath to Pranab Mukherjee in the Central Hall of Parliament in the presence of Vice president Hamid Ansari, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, UPA Chair person Sonia Gandhi, Lok Sabha Speaker Meira kumar among other leaders. He was honoured with a 21 gun salute when he was swapping seats with the outgoing president Pratibha Patil. Then he gave his first speech in English as the President of India where he covers topics on secularism, democracy and his role in politics and as the president. Hindi translation of the president's speech was delivered by the Vice president of India, Hamid Ansari.

Other prominent members who were present in the ceremony were Mamata Banerjee who initially opposed Pranab's nomination as the UPA candidate, Bollywood Star Mithun Chakraborty, Rahul Gandhi and several MLAs from West Bengal, the home town of Pranab Mukherjee who has won this election for president with 69.38 % votes.

Kumki Team personally invites Kamal for Audio Launch of Kumki

Universal Hero Kamal Haasan is personally invited by Kumki team members which includes the director Prabu Solomon (Mynaa Fame), the producer Lingusamy and Prabhu, the father of the debutant hero, Vikram Prabhu.

The kumki team yesterday met Kamal Hassan at his office and personally invited him to grace over the audio launch of the movie with his presence. It was previously planned to invited both Kamal and Rajini for the occassion but the superstar is not attending the function but will be sending the video clips to convey his blessings for the unit.

Kumki movie has Vikram prabhu, the grandson of the legendary actor Sivaji Ganesan and Lakshmi Menon, another new face from kerala, Thambi Ramaiah and Asvin Raja in its cast. First Look Poster of Kareena Kapoor's Heroine invites controversies

Kareena Kapoor affectionately called by Bollywood as Bebo must be on cloud nine after receiving the news of receiving 90,000 hits within 5 hours of realease of her first look photo of her upcoming movie, Heroine by the director of the movie, Madhur Bhandarakar in his twitter account.

The first look still has Kareena Kapoor lying upside down on the bed with golden dress on her with her legs crossed. She is surrounded by cluttered photos and an empy wine glass. The photo also recieved severe criticism of copying the album cover of Mariah Carrey's The Emancipation of Mimi, and that of the cover of a sanghvi's book titled, The Lost Flamingoes of Bombay.

Despite all these plagiarism and inspiration controversies surrounding the first look of Kareena kapoor's Heroine, the movie is still widely expected among the audience due to the previously critically acclaimed movies of the director which includes, Page 3, Fashion and Chandni Bar which reveals the dark secrets of the Glamour world.

The Heroine's promo will be launched on July 25 and the movie will hit the theaters on september 21.

9th std Student forced to drink his own urine by teachers

Kumbakonam,
July 21.

Bharatwaj (14) is the son of a daiy wage labour Desingurajan living in Chozhan maligai near Kumbakonam of Tanjore district. He is studying 9th std in the high school of Agaramseekoor village. He stays in a hostel nearby along with some of his teachers. During the incident, he was reading along with other students for monthly test. He asked teachers to permit him to go outside for passing urine.

The teachers have beaten him harshly saying that he was trying to go and enjoy outside instead of reading for the test. To make the situation worse, they even asked him to pass urine right in front of them and made him to drink the same. Bharatwaj feeling ashamed of this act was crying the whole night and left the hostel and reached his home at chozhan maligai and reported this incident to his father.

The shocked father registered complaint against the teachers in Kumbakonam Hospital Police station. The police alerted the Mangalamedu Police and the concerned School officials. The chief official of education department of the district, Mallika assured that actions will be taken against the concerned staff if the incident is proved to be true after investigation.

DMK Chief Karunanidhi rushed to Apollo Hospital due to stomach pain

Ex-CM of Tamilnadu and DMK Chief, Mr.M.Karunanidhi was rushed to hospital around 2.30 AM since he complained of stomach upset at 1.30 AM. His wife, Rajathi Ammaal and his daughter and Rajyasabha MP Kanimozhi acccompanied him to the hospital. He was given treatment in Apollo hospital and the doctors who treated him announced the media that he is perfectly normal now. Mr.M.Karunanidhi is 89 years old now. He has been keeping himself busy taking care of party works by going to Anna Arivalayam daily. He seems to have taken some snacks yesterday which may be the reason for his stomach pain. So Doctors advised him to avoid outside foods. Now he is discharged and taken home where he is at complete rest as per doctor's advice.

Kamal Haasan Clarifies on his Hollywood Project with Mr.Barrie Osbourne

Kamal Haasan, the legendary actor's name has been recently on news for his upcoming Hollywood project with Mr.Barrie Osbourne. Kamal clarifies about this to his fans through his official fan page in facebook saying that the idea is still in nebulous stage and they are yet to work on the script. It all started with Mr.Barrie watching Dasavatharam and discussing with kamal about Marudhanayagam few years back. Kamal Hassan in a recent interview about his movie, Viswaroopam, when asked what is the message of Viswaroopam, smiles and says that friendship and love is the only message in all his movies. He says that he along with his team are always trying to say I Love You to the audience and that is the deepest message in everyone of his films and he is trying to say it better and better and one day he will be saying it more clearly.

Kamal Haasan also hints that Viswaroopam will be dealing with the small solvable problems in life that when ignored gets magnified and hence the movie is named as Viswaroopam. Viswaroopam Story Revealed By Kamal

Kamal has come up with a new strategy to promote his movies by revealing part of the story of his movie to be released to intensify the curiousity among audience about his movie. Recently he has divulged the story of the most expected Viswaroopam, the story of which has been haunting kamal for the last 7 years.

Viswaroopam centers around the middle class indian girl Nirupama (Andrea) who marries an NRI, Viswanath who is a Kathak Exponent to achieve her means of completing PhD in US. After getting PhD, she decides to divorce her husband and she needs some thing against him to divorce him. So she hires a detective  to find some fault with Viswanath the role played by Kamal. She ends up with a shocking revelations which forms the rest of the story of Viswaroopam.

Vishwaroopam has many important actors in its cast which includes Kamal Haasan, Andrea, Pooja Kumar, Isha Sherwani, Rahul Bose, Jaideep Ahalawat and Nasser. The movie is scripted and directed by Kamal Haasan who actually co-produces this movie along with PVP cinemas. Madhu Sudhanan, who has worked in hollywood movies like Lord of the Rings, Spiderman 3 and Gulliver's Travels takes care of the special effects. Actor Vijay felicitates toppers in tenth and Plus Two Exams

Actor Vijay affectionately called as Ilayathalapathy is not only famous for his huge fan base and his stylish dances but also for noble deeds through his Makkal Iyakkam. As a part of it, he has been cheering school toppers every year with awards and medals along with monetary help for the needy ones. This year, he has done the same in JS Marriage Hall in chennai by felicitating around 200 School toppers of 10th and plus two exams held in tamilnadu and pondicherry.

He also felicitated toppers in tamil. Moreover he announced that district toppers will be awarded by the Makkal Iyakkam's officials. Later he joined the Students for the dinner and had chitchat with them.

 

Surya Plays Conjoined/Siamese Twins in Maatran directed by K.V.Anand

Surya has joined together with K.V.Anand after Ayan now for the most expected Maatraan (Duplicate in Telugu). It is revealed after unveiling the first look teaser of Maatran at Prasad Lab Preview Theater, that Surya is playing double roles as conjoined or siamese twins which means that their body is attached to each other even after birth for the rest of their life. Maatran produced by AGS Entertainment and directed by K.V.Anand is a real challenge for Surya as he has put effort four times that he would for any other film because of the demand by his roles in the movie.

Surya plays Akilan and Vimalan where one sports clean shaved look and the other with a slight beard.Kajal is playing the lead lady of the movie and the other important roles are played by Thara, Vivek, Ravi Prakash and Sachin Khedekar. The music of the movie is composed by Harish Jayaraj who has given many musical hits with surya in the past. K.V.Anand's previous hits Ayan (Veedokkade in telugu) and Ko creates even bigger expectations for Maatran.

K.V.Anand says he was inspired by an article on siamese twins he read in National Geographic Magazine on his flight back after shooting for a song for Sivaji, The Boss with Shankar. But he clarifies that this movie has nothing in common with that of the article or the Thai film which is adapted by the makers of Charulatha movie where Priyamani plays the siamese twins which is expected to be released in parallel with Maatran. Surya was all praise for K.V.Anand who has taken meticulous effort in researching and executing every scenes of the movie.

The shooting of the whole movie is almost over except for a song and the post production works which involves lots of computer graphics which is very essential for this movie.  Although the movie release date is not officially announced yet, it is expected to be released in the end of September. The audio of Maatran will be released on July 23 which is also Surya's birthday. Bellamkonda Suresh has bagged distribution rights in Andhra.

Super Star Rajini's Sivaji, The Boss to be screened in Tokyo Film Festival this year

Super Star Rajini has a huge fan base, world wide. Japan in not an exception either. He has been ruling the hearts of Japanese fans with his movies since the release of his movie, Muthu in 1998 in Japan. His popularity among Japanese people has now reached a new dimension that his blockbuster movie Sivaji, The Boss directed by the well know director Shankar, released in 2007 is now to be screened on Tokyo film festival on 14,15 and 16 th of september, 2012. Tokyo International Film Festival is one of the largest and the most prestigious film festivals of Asia.

It is a pleasant co-incidence that Soundarya Rajinikanth has already planned to initiate an audio launch of Rajini starrer, Kochadaiyan in Tokyo. The heroine of the movie, Sivaji, the boss, Shriya Saran is invited to attend the Tokyo film festival. Sivaji, the Boss will be screen on all three days of the film festival from 14th september to 16, september. It is worth recollecting that Sivaji, the Boss created Box Office Record world wide. The movie had Rajinikanth, Shriya Saran, Suman, Vivek and Solomon Pappayya in the main roles. The movie was directed by the veteran director, Shankar and produced by A.V.M productions. The music of the movie was composed by the Oscar Winner, A.R.Rahman. It was released world wide on June 14, 2007 and released in india on June 15, 2007

Rajini to do a cameo for Aamir's Talaash and Dhoom-3 ?

It is quite normal that Southern Superstar Rajinikanth's name is often rumoured to be doing a cameo in famous actors' movies in both south and north india alike. Recent buzz is because of Aamir's meeting with Rajini which created wide speculation among media whether Aamir is trying to get Rajini to do an item song in Aamir's Talaash directed by Reema Kagti. She cleared air over this speculation saying that Rajini Sir is too busy with his current project Kochadaiyan and do not want to risk his health more for any outside projects.

Aamir Khan and Rajini has been very close since their working together in Aatank Hi Aatank in 1995. Aamir Khan also clarified that he is not even aware if Rajini is to do an item song in his movie, Talaash though he says that one item song with Rani, Kareena and Aamir is to be shot soon. Talaash is widely expected due to previous blockbusters, 3 Idiots and Ghajini of Aamir.
