On Wednesday, P.Chidambaram (66), has become the new finance minister of india again for the third time. The post was temporarily held by the Prime minister, after Pranab mukherjee resigned his post as Finance Minister since he had to contest in presidential election. P.Chidambaram has become finance minister again after four years. India Inc has been welcoming the new finance minister with tons of confidence.
P.Chidambaram with years of experience over economic reforms is expected to boost the indian economy especially at this time when the indian economy is very weak. He has been congratulated by many ministers though he recieved critical aclaims from his opponent politicians for his alleged involvement in 2G Scam and for the tampered election results that made him win in his Sivaganga.seat in Tamilnadu in 2009.
Home ministry previously held by Chidambaran is now taken over by Sushil Kumar Shinde who was earlier holding the power ministry. M.Veerapa Moily has taken charge of Power Ministry now.
