Poornima Bhagyaraj still regrets her missed chance to act with Kamal Hassan

Poornima Bhagyaraj is an actress who rocked indian cinema in the 80s with her malayalam movies like Onnanu Nammal, Aa Rathri, Oomakkuyil, Njan Ekananu, Olangal and with her tamil movies like Thanga Magan with Rajinikanth, Naalu Perukku Nanri, Nenjamellaam Neeye, Payanangal mudivathillai, Darling Darling Darling with K.Bhagyaraj whom she later married and telugu movies like Manthrigari Viyyankudu and hindi movies like Paheli, Champa, Dillagi and Ratnadeep. She is back to tamil cinema again now with the movie, Aadhalaal Kadhal Seiveer.directed by Suseenthiran who has already given super hits like Nan Mahaan Alla and Rajapattai. Poornima is pairing against the cinematographer turned actor Ramnath Reddy who has done cinematography for the malayalam movie, Pazhasi Raja.

Poornima in her recent interview revealed that she is still worried about her having missed the chance to act with Kamal Hassan in a Balachander movie for which she had even taken make up test along with Kamal, but the film was later dropped. She can't stop thinking of this missed opportunity whenever she sees the amazing performance by kamal in Dasavatharam. Poornima says she is still feeling crazy to act with Kamal. Poornima's son Shantanu has given a super hit in his first tamil movie Chakkarakati. Poornima's daughter Saranya has debuted in tamil movie, Paarijaatham.
